The College Credit Plus Program?(CCP)?is a state-funded program that allows?high school students to earn college and high school credit simultaneously at no cost to students or families.

Created to provide Ohio high school students the opportunity to pursue higher education and reduce the cost of doing so, the??Ohio Department of Higher Education, the?Ohio Department of Education, and the?Ohio legislature collaborated with universities and community colleges throughout the state to combine several existing programs.

CCP combines the previous Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO), Dual Enrollment programs, and Tech Prep.

UToledo’s College Credit Plus program: innovative technology, expert faculty, and?more course options available to the dual credit student.

More courses available

All undergraduate courses in the UToledo catalog are available to CCP students who meet prerequisites or requirements and many of these courses are available online. A student must complete 15 hours of Level One designated courses before they can move on to Level Two courses.

A selection of?Ohio Transfer Module compliant general education courses are offered in a variety of formats – online, blended and face-to-face. These high-quality?courses improve access and are guaranteed to transfer to Ohio public colleges and universities.

  • 100% Online – Synchronous, a specific time and day each week
  • Blended - Online and in a UToledo classroom
  • Face to Face - Classroom on the UToledo Campus
  • Face to Face - Classroom on the high school campus with a credentialed high school teacher
